Who does what in our business? Like most websites, we have a ‘Meet the team‘ page, which tells you a bit about each of our team members. But in our new news feature, ‘Three minutes with…’ we delve into their lives a little bit further – both inside and outside the office.
First up, meet Jacky, our Operations Manager.
Tell us what you do in one sentence
Full administration and support for our corporate clients and their schemes, along with the general day to day running of the office.
What does a typical work day look like for you?
I generally arrive between 8.30am – 8.45am depending on how the trains have behaved. As I diarise all of my work, so nothing gets missed,, each day starts with assessing my workload including actions in-progress and emails received overnight. This is then prioritised and, as the day progresses, may be re-jigged depending on other requests that arrive.
Contact throughout the day can be with a variety of people but predominately clients, scheme members, colleagues and insurers. As the administration support to our corporate clients covers all areas of employee benefits – from implementing a new scheme, renewing or re-broking existing schemes, to closing schemes down and providing support to members – the variety and volume of work is always changing. It’s for this reason I need to be very organised and structured on a day to day basis.
